activist, researcher, writer.

I’m passionate about art, human rights, and technology. Originally trained as a translator and interpreter, I now work as a writer, project manager, and community organizer. You can find me in The Hague, Berlin, Seoul and…wherever there is an okay Internet connection.

Growing up in an ecovillage in India, moving eighteen times between two continents, and working with people from all walks of life have helped shape who I am as a person. Oh, and my mother was a student activist under authoritarian South Korea (she’s way more badass than I am).

I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with some of the most inspiring people in the world, and I want to share the knowledge I’ve learned with those who believe in making the world a better place.

what i want to do

I’m a realistic optimist and problem-solver. My biggest joy comes from working with people who truly care about changing the world, on local/global initiatives. Some keywords: community-building, diaspora, feminism, identity, queer/lgbtq+, fair work, intersectionality.

what i can do

I’m a natural planner and data analyst (my first survey was a bar chart scoring how much everyone in my primary school class liked each other, rated on a scale of 1 to 10) who was thrown into a life of last-minute changes and fast-paced working environments (conferences, interpreting, working with international media). I thrive in organized chaos. (Myer-Briggs: ENTJ/FP)

how i work

I’m a full-time Comms & Engagement Lead at RightsCon/Access Now, serve as the president & co-founder of Asian Voices Europe, and occasionally perform spoken word poetry (lol), which leaves very little room for any hands-on work. I’m open to paid speaking engagements, hosting workshops, and commissioned writing. I’m working on making my expertise and tips on working in the nonprofit sector more accessible in 2023 by writing and publishing them. Unfortunately, I do not have time for unpaid labor at the moment.
